“Wanted to give an update on IIT.  The students did a monumental and fantastic job with the dolls. Diane and I went to the finals last Friday.  The Tummi Pal doll project came in 2nd place in it’s category! We were elated by this announcement. Braband and Winkin will be getting in touch with us after the classes end.  Testing will be happening next week.  We’re hoping there will be funding to see this project to the next level.

“This Saturday I am meeting with an editor about my book. The lawyer’s office you sent me to is working at just fine. This week I am on vacation trying to tie up loose ends on the book. Starting Thursday, May 14th, I will be taking classes with the Women’s Business Development Center , hoping to get financing and work on a business plan to apply for a Small Business Loan. Last Friday, Angela had an IPRO Program at IIT, and her Tummie Pal Dolls won 2nd place. I’m happy for her and none of this would have been possible without Black Inventors.
